ATM2® (Active Therapeutic Movements) is a conservative therapy system designed to help patients find a more comfortable, supported position while performing guided movement patterns. The goal is to help reduce pain, improve range of motion, and support better muscle function.
The ATM2 system stabilizes the body in a specific position so the patient can perform controlled movements with less pain or restriction. This may help retrain abnormal movement patterns and support improved function in patients with certain back, neck, and musculoskeletal conditions.
Many patients with chronic or severe back pain, neck pain, or movement limitations develop abnormal movement patterns and overactive muscles that can increase stress on the body. The ATM2 system helps stabilize the injured or irritated area, allowing the muscles to relax while specific exercises are performed.
These guided movements may help activate weakened muscles, reduce over-contraction, improve coordination, and support more efficient movement. Treatment is customized based on the patient’s symptoms, comfort level, movement limitations, and response to care.
